Great espresso shot! We stopped here with the thought of getting a good pastry, however, we were happy to have some of the best service on the island! The women working there were wonderful and super helpful. I only speak English and the women were generous enough to go over the food options. We got some sandwiches, toast, and pastries. The food was delicious. If you get the chance definitely try out the iced tea! I got a mango iced tea and it was so fresh and yummy tasting. The natas were a great flavor, and the toast was hot and well made. Overall, we will absolutely come to this place over any other. Cheap, good quality pastries, bread and coffee. We paid 11.50 for 2 Americano, 2 bolos levedos and 2 pastries. We arrived around noon and the selection was limited. I had a chocolate and cappuccino and my friend had a tart and cappuccino. The chocolate was fresh and very good and so was the tart. The cappuccinos were okay. The service was adequate but I didn’t find the staff overly friendly or helpful. The place is modern inside but the tables were dirty. The value was excellent. A coffee spot where you can enjoy coffee and freshly baked pastries. They also offer almond milk as an alternative, which is a nice touch. Both the cinnamon roll and the pastel de nata were delicious, and the freshly pressed orange juice was a refreshing addition. Incredible cakes here. We came several times & every time the food was amazing. Staff are so friendly, always smiling even when it's super busy. Coffee & sumo de laranja are both great & really affordable. You can also get your fresh bread here each day. Toilets are clean & accessible. This is a great location to grab breakfast after the ferry or brunch before a day out as it's close to the center or a 2 minute walk to the ferry terminal. Helpful staff and they helped by speaking English. Great way to start the day. Delicious and beautiful brunch. Went here several times during our stay as it is a perfect spot to stop for breakfast or a quick pastry. Take your number by the door and the friendly staff make sure you get everything you need.
