I had an visit to the UK Owl and Raptor Centre. The intimate setting allowed for close interactions with magnificent of prey. The staff were and passionate, providing insightful information. A recommended for anyone interested in wildlife! It was an anniversary gift voucher for our 50th, as I love of prey anyway I was really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. Dan was so and enthusiastic about the birds, and what made it special was the personal touch, only two couples at a time. The were awesome especially the eagle owl, his talons..... WOW!! The estate was gorgeous, I've never seen so many wild buzzards before, and a red kite came in close to! All in all would recommend 💜 One of the best experiences ever. Lovely estate and extremely and staff. Gail was a real expert and she ensured that all four of us had plenty of with these and charismatic owls. We met Eileen, Haze, Dave and Coffey. I couldn’t pick a favourite as they are all awesome. This was truly a unique, jaw dropping and wonderful experience!! The four of us had a fantastic and the were amazing! The guides were super friendly, and very knowledgeable. They truly love their work and the connection they had to the was fascinating! I intend to go again with another group of friends very soon! Our folks organised a surprise owl for our birthday and what am it was! Liam's passion and expertise was and you made the unforgettable - thank you so much!! Our host Grace was so lovely, and of all the Owl brought out and kept us constantly entertained, as did the Owls! Each owl had their own little personalities and was to seeing them in action. Our Daughter loved it! Incredible in a location. Such a caring team of staff who tell the story of each owl. The are just so up and close and you come to the personality of each one (ie. Dave decided he fancied a rest at the other side of the field). We were able to capture some absolutely stunning photographs. Maximum 4 people in a session means it’s really personal. A great gift for anyone; you wouldn’t have to love to love this! 🦉 Absolutely experience, the grounds are beautiful, handler was very professional funy and engaging. Cannot recommend enough This was the best way to spend a few hours! There was only two of us as we went on a Monday lunchtime and we got so much with the birds! Grace was showing us the and telling us so many facts about each of them. She was so and lovely! She made the whole for us! And there were so many kinds of owl (we did the owl and met 4, from tiny Zazu to giant Sacha!). Thank you so much Grace, you were fab!!! This was a really life affirming experience. I attended with my daughter and we were extremely lucky with the weather and the numbers so we had really good access to the experience. Liam was very knowledgeable, amiable, fun and an excellent host for the afternoon. We experienced four of varying sizes and weights(!). This was a wonderful way to spend and those are so impressive that you are forced to live in the moment, be present and forget everything else - Ella and I just loved it and look forward to an Owl day next. I can recommend the centre, the surroundings and the hosting. Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with the owls, despite the beat efforts of the British weather to dampen our spirits. We were met at the gate and spent two hours flying the owls. The keepers were very and knowledgable - answering all our questions. The were in great condition so are obviously well kept. There was only one other couple visiting on the day we went so we all had lots of with each owl. The nearby pub us one of the oldest in England so was a great place for lunch after our fascinating visit - thoroughly recommended Wow wow wow!!! What a truly with these of prey.
