Needed to drop off this Hedgehog to the rescue that my students found. Folly has some amazing that are very passionate about what they do. I've never had to bring in an animal before but they were very helpful about how to fill out the form and how I could give my students an update on how the Hedgehog is doing. Please consider donating to their cause as our would suffer without them. Very helpful and communicative. Wholly reliant on satnav, I didnt see one sign telling me i had arrived, even when right outside the door marked reception and had to rely on my children who had previously attended to confirm i was in the right place. No one else seemed lost so maybe I should have gone to spec savers first! Very professional and friendly, gave great advice when we had a baby field mouse brought in. It's nest had been abandoned so we looked after it until Folly could take it in when they opened the next day. Extremely clean, knew what they were doing. Beautiful location in the deep woods so it was a bit of a trek to find but worth it knowing we gave the mouse the best chance at survival. Look out for their charity change pots on counters locally and donate if you can please. What a wonderful experience. They took in 4 baby wood mice my partner brought home from his work after he moved a tarpaulin and underneath found these mice soaked, cold and with no mum becausesadlyshe scampered off and didn't return. They put them straight into an incubator and explained how they'll care for them to enable them to eventually be released into natural habitat. The were very kind and friendly. There was a fabulous Christmas gift shop too. You have beautiful souls ❤️ thank you. Lovely little rescue centre with caring staff. Great that it is open on Sundays. Definitely deserves our support with donations. They do a amazing job at caring for wildlife. Very friendly all round. Very caring and volunteers. Always happy to help in way possible. Any or sick please contact these guys. The Kent and surrounding areas would be lost without Folly. A true gem. Thank you for everything you do for our wildlife. We took our baby dove there whom we found and it was hurt and rang for weekly updates.. such a wonderful place to help out the ones in need 🤍🤍🤍 I dropped off a baby bird I found on the ground and the team were so lovely and helpful. They identified him as a sparrow straight away and it was so lovely to see them genuinely care for the animal. Anne on the front desk was particularly welcoming and friendly to speak to. I was a little disappointed that they aren’t able to update you on the progress of the animal. But they assured me he will be well looked after. I hope the baby bird does okay! Thank you for doing such a great job. Would definitely recommend them if you come across any stressed or wildlife. Took a young Wood Pigeon to them with an foot and signed a form which included wanting it back and also donated £100 on the day and promised another £1000 when I collected it and they EUTHANISED IT !! Called this morning after an pigeon turned up on my doorstep last night as I was unsure what to do after initially looking after it overnight. It's wing seemed damaged and it was unable to fly. The receptionist over the phone was extremely helpful and tried to locate other rescue centres more local to me. Unfortunately with it being a Sunday, no other centres were answering their phones. I decided to take it to Follys's directly and the lovely receptionist I spoke to on the phone was even lovelier in person, thanking me for bringing it all the way to them. Regardless of the outcome of this poorly bird, it was clear the will do the best they possibly can for it. I have since now set up a monthly donation to ensure this place can continue to look after and save vunerable wildlife. I only wish more places like this existed ❤️ Saw a pigeon on grass verge being attacked by cat. Did a u turn to save it. Pigeon alive, not flying so phoned RSPCA; not interested. Took bird to local Vet; - their advice give it gas or an injection as it had a broken wing. Folly's was mentioned. No chance thanks for the option of euthanasia but I'd rather let it take its chances by letting it go in woods or somewhere. Phoned Folly's. Gent on phone was lovely-bring it in he said we can look after it. Drove an hour to site but when I got there the pigeon had passed. Classed by as DOA. Payed Folly's £5 optional donation and they put the bird on ice. Absolutely brilliant place to bring an animal which needs help and was so glad such a place exists. Took in a badly fox , immediately administered a pain killing injection and having assessed the extent of damage arranged immediate admission to local vets. Very professional and caring. .
