The location is good Has all Laisure facilities Easy staff Easy bookings either in person or online Cheap pay parking Neat and and roomy. Went for badminton games 2 courts 13 pounds an hour, and 4 people shared the money. I like it Parking is an ongoing issue. The metter is working, is not working, again working ,again not. If you use the gym you have to pay full price, after that you can have a refund IF you bring the half of the ticket to the reception. There could be a different system regarding the payment. Quite pitty, the gym is a gem. Nice and clean, but it could have been better. The gym gates need some supervision specialwhen you don't have an access card, so someone needs to be present to let you in. Suna and steam can get very busy, and your best shot is after 8 pm, a decent pool. And I could say 3 out 5. Been with them for awhile now but feel the service has gone downhill. The men's rooms are always dirty when I go to use them, food on the floor. No hand soap in the mens toliets, started to bring my own, sinks are a disgrace. The is always luke warm, other people have started complaining about this. Barriers to get in are tempremental, wish they changed them to something else like jd gyms have. They have started to put up there pricing which I wouldn't mind if it means better service but I feel it's going nowhere. The are friendly enough but I'm now considering choosing another gym. Very disappointed. Switched gyms to here as JD was always too busy and packed and you couldn't get in anything...this gym is great big normal gym upstairs and big ladies gym never that busy and has everything you need also has the pools and sports halls has different memberships for different things or full package memberships only downside for me Is the going fee you also have to pay which is pricey but in all really good..there's parking you do have to pay for but if youre using the you just give the one half of your ticket to to be reimbursed Ample paid parking available in Car park, a handful of Disabled bays available . I visited early morning so might be very different at peak times. Good entrance and area although I felt that the extra space behind the turnstiles here could be better used. Having used the ( ) for the first time I am totally bemused by the area/ facilities. Who designed this 🤬. Ground floor MIXED where all can get changed. Cubicles available but you still are sharing the area with males. I want privacy to change in an ALL FEMALE reassured that I don't have any perverse activity going on in there. It's a NO from me ! Good to see a Ladies only Gym downstairs its small but acceptable. Upstairs there's a mixed Gym with a fair amount of Cardio & Free weights. Otherwise there are various classes available in the other rooms and of course a pool. Nothing wrong with the Sports and equipment but the rooms are hugely off putting and need re thinking. They have a Ladies only gym so separate male & female rooms should've been a basic fixture in any leisure centre. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who would like to start on their fitness journey or even want to get fitter and stronger. The leisure has pool, sauna, steam room, fitness classes, a separate ladies gym. Junior gym from 11 years up and regular gym too. There are other studios with other extra activities which may need extra payments and not everything maybe included in the monthly gym membership. They have martial arts coaching, table tennis etc but these are privately run for children and adults on weekends. Leisure good but exceptionally rude. Kept us waiting 15 mins to pay for goggles for my grandson who was at his sisters swim party. on the then said they were not trained to serve. Only came for a small introduction to the gym, had the wonderful Zabeena(apologies if I got it wrong) as my tour guide and was absolutely helpful from start to finish. Gave so many helpful tips, information and was very clear alongside creating a friendly atmosphere. She made it feel welcoming, inviting and not at all pressuring to join and understood my circumstances. As for the quality of the gym, I first visited when it opened in West Brom and intermittently went for classes, etc. The look and feel new and goes to show how well looked after it is, other members are friendly and from what I have seen in the past and presenr the interpersonal relationships between and members is heartwarming. In terms of price for gym compared to others in the area, for the price you pay to have a more relaxing, non-intimidating experience I'd say is well worth it😁 Personnel are very kind and helpful, we needed instruction on one of the machines, an instructor called Tom helped a lot, eventhough he was busy, but he didn’t leave us alone. Thank you very much dear Tom, you are the best🌸 Big shout out to JAYDEN on for being so welcoming and kind to my children after on a very hot day . He was very polite and extremely helpful, he went above & beyond with his customer service skills . This man needs a*promotion *. . He is an asset to the leisure . One of the worst places to go, went down there with my special needs son I sat on the benches watching my son in the as he can’t be left alone I was approached by the manager saying saying someone complained about me, taking pictures of my son which I was not I told the manger no then he started to complain about me being on my phone, which everybody was on there I wasn’t the only one on my It was just a drama horrible manager if everyone’s on their phone, you shouldn’t just be having words with me bit dramatic . Everyone should get talking to not just me cant sit here and be on my when there was another lady sitting next to me on her very unprofessional doing it in front of everybody in the and other members that was around he could’ve took me to the Side if he felt like it was inappropriate for me to be on my he was very rude when i told him my so has special needs I need sit here he walked away took my son and went early was very uncomfortable 😡 will not bring my son back there avoid this place at all cost too much drama "I had a frustrating experience at west bromwich leisure centre, despite the great like the pool, gym, sauna, steam room, and classes. In August, I asked to put my membership on hold for £5 a month due to work commitments. A member assured me this could be done and promised to sort it out. Unfortunately, I later discovered I had been charged the full membership fee for several months. When I contacted the gym in December to address this, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful. They asked for details about the member, but since I didn’t know their name, no action was taken. I was left feeling unsupported and disappointed by how the issue was handled. The situation caused unnecessary stress, and I expected better communication and accountability from the staff. While the pool, gym, sauna, steam room, and classes are great, the customer service let me down. should ensure requests are properly followed up, and managers need to handle complaints with more empathy. Overall, while the are good I wouldn’t recommend this leisure unless they improve how they treat their members." I have been a member of this fitness gym for more than a year now, and I have always been deeply disappointed by the quality of cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms but also in the rooms. People never up after themselves — on the contrary, I even get the feeling that some make a mess on purpose. The toilets are a -1/10, the sinks a 1/10, and the floors just the same. People shave and leave hair all over, they blow their noses in the sinks and leave everything untouched. They clearly do not care about cleanliness, and the do nothing to address it. At the very least, the gym could put up some signs, such as: • Please keep the bathrooms clean, other people will use them after you. Show respect for others. Or stricter ones: • Keep the clean. Ignoring this may result in losing your membership. I have never seen any such signs here, and lately I have started to feel very uncomfortable in this place. Because of that, I have decided to cancel my membership. Very disappointed with 2day. Apparently they was a issue with the chlorine day before, which was not sorted, instead it was left for the next day. People waiting outside for 20 minutes should have been informed to say they have issues with chlorine that won't be ready until later on the morning. The managers reaction to the issue was the isn't working and it's not my problem. If you been informed there is a problem you would go in early to see if you can resolve it.
