We enjoyed the knödel tris, salad and two drinks after a hike! The Hütte was quite full, so it took a moment to get the food and drinks. Some people were waiting in line to get in! After having a really bad experience from previous night at Hirzer hutte this place was like a heaven for us. Owner and staff are doing exceptional job to keep you accommodated. We had very pleasant stay and can recommend anti-covid medicine to everyone ;) Really BAD quality of food. Went there twice - do not make my mistake. My Apfelstrudel was dry and tasted like nothing... Second time my Knödel tris was covered with strange cheese... - looked horrible and tasted the same way. Kraut Salat was tasteless. Great view that is the star for ... Do not spend your money there. NOT WORTH IT! We stayed 2 nights, although initially planned only one. Absolutely recommended! Hosts super kind and welcoming, very good cuisine and perfectly positioned both to walk /bike in the whole altopiano and to stop one night if traversing the European path. At night sky is full of stars and in the morning there are a couple of spots perfect for sunrise at ca 30min walk distance The coziest spot with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The place is very well-maintained, clean, and the staff is very hospitable. Overnight stay and food are reasonably priced. The breakfast and supper tasted very good. Really bad quality of food. We ordered a Kaiserschmarrn and hardly recognised it - weird texture, tasteless and not enjoyable unfortunately. Service was good and view great though! Friendly staff, clean serviceable rooms with shower tokens available for communal shower rooms (private booths). Reasonably priced, good food - well portioned. No drying room. We had a great time here! The waiters explained the menu in English without any problems. The food was delicious and the view was magnificent. Thanks to the team of the hut for the responsiveness. We promised we'd be back someday!
