One of the most visited Castles in region Münsterland in a smalll and charming city called Ahaus. This Baroque Castle is used for Art Exhibits or other special Events. There are many café bistros, restaurants, English Pubs, ice cream parlor, hotels and shops around the area. Parking is all around, pay at designated machines, parking fee is fair. This moated Castle has a beautiful garden and children’s playground. The place is well maintained, well manicured plants and flowers, many trees around and very green in summer. There are gorgeous swans, geese and wild ducks and perfect for promenade around. I highly recommend! Nice place not very crowded! Very nice castle with water around and black swan 🖤, ducks....nice sculptures... Nice place to walk around So refreshing and theres a park nearby if you have kids.
