Peaceful place, like many of the small villages along Lake Leman/Geneva, Messery is a beautiful and quiet village with clear views of Nylon, Switzerland. Parking is paid before 6pm but after you can go in and sit on the grass and go for a swim. The frites from the restaurant are very good too. Quiet area. We didn't go down to the snack bar area. Instead we went to the left and down to the clearway where boats are let into the lake. It's a bit stony but once you're in you won't notice!
