The lunches are self service. But the location and the view of the River creates a even more pleasant atmosphere. It pains me to write this. I love spaghetti allo scoglio but after this i am almost put off it for life. Tiny broken shell bits in nearly every bite that were invisible to the eye but unfortunately not the teeth. Horrible sensation. The mussels were cold and dry and the shrimps were limp and simply tasted awful. The spaghetti was super al dente. I was probably just unlucky but sorry at €15 I can't ignore it. I should add this was the self service at the front and not the restaurant at the back. A nice place on the pedestrian riverside of the city of Casier, where you can enjoy traditional food in a relaxing atmosphere. If you want to enjoy the traditional fingerfood, I suggest to go there in the evening as the aperitif time it's a must in this area and the "cicchetty" are freshly prepared. The Friendly and helpful staff is always willing to advice patrons about the chef suggestions. I'll be beck for sure in this place. Thank you. I rated the service so low as they use the old ‘cassa’ system where you have to queue up to order and pay, they queue up to get your drink. If they had the ability to pay at the bar it would avoid the wait and improve the experience. Very good food and wine, friendly service and nice location. Only one vegan option vegetable ball. Found what looked like plastic wrapping in risotto, although they claimed it was part of the squid. I'm no expert in marine biology so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Nice location. Everything was ok until the bill came. Some advise.
