If you like a bit of history and care to take a little stroll in a really nice relaxing environment - it is outdoors so mind the weather - highly recommended. Do not forget to have a look and sniff around the garden .. Very interesting and informative site in beautiful countryside. NOTE however, if you walk from Rochefort using Google maps, the location is c. 600 metres further up the road than indicated on Google. Is saying that is till 18. Informative and interesting. The only thing I missed was trash cans 🗑. We arrived here to find the place was not busy at all which we thought would be great. They however had three coaches of school trips. The youngsters were fine. We found the staff s attitude unfriendly and unwelcoming. At one point in the visit, we were with the cows and a member of staff arrived with her group and just shouted, excuse me, excuse me before proceeding to barge her way in front of us. The website claims English as one of then languages used but all the info boards are in Deutsch and French only. You can use an audio guide in English which is of very poor quality.
