Expensive. Having lived for 6 months in Bad Harzburg we made good use of the thermal baths. They have sauna, sun decks added to the lovely swimming areas (2) as well as a fabulous bubble pool. There's also a stream of thermal water flowing around an open air landscape which is great fun and very relaxing. They also have a system where you buy a 100€ ticket and it entitles you utilise the facilities for that value and through the system you get what ammounts to about 20% discount. Beautiful beautiful beautiful that's all I can say. Everything was perfect from the heated pool, to the hot tub and cold and hot Sauna. Perfect!!!! Plenty of room. No waiting. However people seem to throw the towels on relaxing chairs. No one in it. Don't give others a chance to sit and relax, very selfish.... Same with the bubbles....they sit and wait although signs are up saying they should give others a chance..... Sauna areas are clean. Variety of different once. Good to explore. Crowded, but very beautiful. You can do a lot of saunas (salt, finish, dampf). I would say you should come early, the ticket is very expensive and the price stays the same the whole day. Nice place with lots of facilities! But the food at the bistro was really fat and the salad that came with the package "Harmonietag" was totally basic and sour. Also it included a massage and the day after I had all sore muscles, I don't think the girl was very capable. The massage included no pampering or relaxing music it feld like a sportsmassage. Nice place to spend the whole day. Take a book with you and have a moment for yourself.
