We just stepped in for some food and drinks while hiking around. Food and drinks were fine. Friendly service, but it took ages for them to notice us (even though the place wasn't too busy). Wonderful place for a weekend visit. We've been coming here every year for the past few years. Good food. Wonderful staff. Beautiful location. You do sleep upstairs and it is comfortable but you're only separated by curtains, but we've always slept well. Fantastic place. We have been to Murgseehuette two years in a row now . And it was a pleasure to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the Sardona way. Food is made and served with dedication by the entire team. Franz and Claudia are just fabulous hosts ,thanks for nice hours and a well kept place to return to any time The location is amazing. However, the attitude of the staff was not always ideal, and the price was a bit high. Partly because this also includes dinner and breakfast, but this is exactly the problem. Forcing every one to have dinner and breakfast results in high costs for the hikers, and in more helicopter trips required to provide this food. It would be much better to allow the hikers to choose, that way also incentivising them bringing their own food, reducing the costs, and reducing the waste. Not providing this option is bad for the hikers and bad for the environment, and just seems like a way to justify higher profit. Also the price of a basic need like water seemed a bit high when this can simply be boiled and cooled on location. Finally to be noted that there are no showers What a wonderful stay!
