Low admission cost @ 5 euros in September 2024. There are paintings, artifacts, tapestries, furniture, old maps (my favorite part!) and historical stories. Unmissable while staying in SanRemo. Cheap entry includes use of a multilingual tablet to explain as one of the displays. A very professional little museum and only 5€; Pleasant ambient, friendly stuff, interesting artefacts. Not very well documented. The three skulls were impressive though. Small but really nice little museum. One floor of archeology, one floor of art. It's open until late in the evening, so it's perfect for a visit after dinner. Highly recommend a visit. A splendid gem in the center of Sanremo. Exhibits in Italian, but they have a tablet with descriptions in English. The three floors tell the story of Sanremo through the ages. The painting of “Saint Napoleon” reveals that influence operations are not new. Great exhibit on the cartoonist and writer Antonio Rubino. Very interesting small museum. First floor italian only but still interesting. Second floor also english. Very nice and helpful staff. Can recommend Very interesting collection of artistic and archaeological pieces from the local territory, English artists from the victorian Age, and an amazing painting from RUBENS! Also excellent for kids with the interactive "Art box" area that allows them to create their own artwork inspired by the cartoonist Antonio Rubino.
