Quiet compared to others in area, I guess only locals go here, dog friendly, shower, noticed bar, resto, we went to side slightly for a quick swim Bruni loved her holiday in Albenga and especially the days spent at this wonderful dog beach. Marco the owner is very attentive and sees to all the clients personally upon arrival and throughout the day. What impressed me the most was that the dogs wellbeing and safety are his top priorities and that the rules are followed. We tried the sun beds on the and the private fenced areas. Both were great. The restaurant is also very good and the staff were always friendly, which adds to a atmosphere. They also sell doggy ice-cream, which went down a treat with Bruni. The only let down (this is my personal option) more attention was given to the local/regular client's and not tourists, but this could also have been due to the language barrier. We stayed in Albenga especially so that Bruni could enjoy her summer holiday on this wonderful, very clean and organised and we were not disappointed. Perfect for dog owners: 35€ full day plus 10€ for the parking just aside the shore (no shadow but at least you don’t have to walk). BUT the owner or the Manager, a young lady, i acting like a drill instructor. Kids are not allowed to run, Towels not on the umbrella and lot of other confusing restrictions. We spent more than € 100 there and i think we should ve treated like normal human beeings and not like members of a boot camp. Top! We had a wonderful day at this with our dog Charlie. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dogs get their own sun bed, shower with warm water, ice cream, water service brought to the umbrella, water resistant leash, snack bar … It is a pebble with fine sand added for comfort. Umbrellas are fixed with lots of space to neighbors. The bar offers plenty of shade, draft beer, wine and bistro type lunch. The pippo pizza is excellent. And there is even a parking lot for visitors. Veramente caratteristica ed esteticamente molto bella la Spiaggia si Pippo e da lodare l'entusiasmo di tutti i ragazzi giovani che ci lavorano e soprattutto il fatto di poter portare il proprio cane con sé è un'esperienza superlativa! There is paid parking specially for this with ample space ( it’s a bit hidden as it just beside the boundary wall of this place). The parking on the road is free but too narrow and too full. The bar and service on the was perfect. Couple of negatives: it’s a pebbly beach. The dogs might not have super fun if they don’t swim a bit further. Marko: this wannabe macho guy shows you to your spot ( bed and umbrella) , however I found him to be a constant source of nuisance as he was telling almost everyone how to “behave” with their dog on the . Constantly checking and intruding in everyone’s space. He also lied to us about the private space with enclosure being reserved for the day. We spent the full day at the but that private space was vacant throughout. In comparision, we found the Bau Bau village near Savona a much better place to take your dog and enjoy your day without any hassle. Very if you have a dog with you! People are friendly and it's very good value for money! The is sligthly more restrictive than others with dogs (cannot leave them free all around), but we had a great time anyway!
