Cala Cristal

El Calón, Spain Nature preserve

The beach was nice but the walk up and down was hard work. A good turn over of people as there isn't much room. Good for wearing face masks as the water is clear At the end of September plenty of seaweed. Looks bad, smells worse. Can't really get to the water. Dangerous railings down the path! Do not lean on the wooden railings for any reason. Two years ago, my brother nearly went over the cliff while leaning on a railing. A year later, two people fell over the cliff while taking photos. I don't know if this has been repaired, but I did report it, twice! Once you are down at the beach, it's amazing, just be careful.... Great snorkeling spot, lots to see & crystal clear A lovely little cove with nice views of the med Outside the usual holiday seasons in Spain, this is a quiet spot. Especially in the morning. When for a soul enriching swim at 9 am a few days before X-Mas. Clean, no crowd at this time of the year, and sufficiently private for a naked visit. beautiful place! the rocks are very impressive!!!! i really recommend, this is a very nice place to take some pictures aswell! Clear lapping sea. Great for very young children. Swim shoes needed as ‘beach’ and sea are pebbles.
