This is a very nice hill and recreational area. The views from up top are really pretty, over the town of Hilversum, woods, hills and a nature reserve. You can walk up with stairs, but there's also a paved footpath for people with children or who can't take stairs. There are playgrounds for kids and exercise apparatuses for adults. Easy parking. A walk up this hillock combines well with a walk around the Wasmeer nature reserve in the lovely wooded, lake-filled and heathy Gooi area outside of Amsterdam. A small manmade hillock on the periphery of Hilversum. There are steps as well as a paved path to reach the top. There are few equipment for physical exercise At the top there is a paved area and some seating arrangements. One can have a complete 360 degree view of Hilversum from the top. A good place for exercise or a walk with family. I have always loved going to this place since I moved here in hilversum. It’s beautiful small high land in Hilversum. Beautiful place for sun set. You can also find some little work out area there. This is actually a man made hill (Dutch folks call this a mountain). Good view of Hilversum and Anna's hoeve. No biking allowed. In the winter this is one of 2 hills in the area that's best for sledding. Man made hill which provides a lovely view over Hilversum. Free exercise equipment and a little playground. Would be good if they could provide more seating at the top of the hill. Nice addition in a run, it's marked on the pavement with 100 meter sections (700 meter total), so you can see how far up you've got. The run up is a set of switchbacks which makes it more interesting. A really great place to take a look at the wood and the nature around From one first walk, till today. This is one of my favourite place to be when my mind gets full. No other better way to finish /start your day than seeing the sun setting/rising.
