This was a superb venue for bowling, with the star symbol bringing an allure throughout! We really appreciated how this is projected onto the floor and staff were friendly at the check-in desk, willing to co operate when the front member had switched from when we pre-booked at the counter earlier and listen as I explained the situation. We were then led into our game and the lanes are nicely shaded with the blue lighting for pins at the end, enjoyed how we could add custom faces of ourselves on the scores too! Good fun evening out. My daughter had booked a bowling alley for a father's day treat. Was about £10 each for 10 goes. Although the machine played up a bit, the staff reset it for us so we still got all of or goes. Good service at the bar with a wide selection of drinks. They also have lots of arcade games, pool tables, tvs with sports playing, escape rooms and VIP lounge. Can get quite busy and noisy, however good fun for a night out. Great for all ages, disabled access limited, parking in carpark opposite. We went for a family birthday and had a session of darts. Great atmosphere for live sporting events We went there for one weekday evening during school holidays. Expecting it wouldn't be too busy which happened to be true, just right. Despite that they gave us alley to share with other couple. There were other alleys free so would be nice to have this experience better organised. Not very big place so hard to imagine to navigate between all the slot machines in Saturday evening. Toilets were clean however there were gaps between boards meaning you can see next cubicle just a little - again might be bit upsetting in peak times. Staff was friendly but overall just average experience for us especially its not cheap. Not the best experience here. The overhead TV froze towards the end our game so we couldn't finish it. Not many bowling balls available especially for younger children. There were 4 staff members behind the bar but still took ten minutes to get two drinks. Most of the arcade games were faulty. Some had signs saying that tickets weren't available but most didn't and the tickets didn't work which of course you don't find out until after you've paid. Too many of the games were out of order or simply swallowed your money and then didn't work. Overall not great, could be so much better with just a bit of attention. Lovely going here to play pool; two choices of tables (downstairs for £1.50 a game, upstairs for pay by the hour). Usually spot on when I've been before, realised too late this time that I was given a smaller size (half pint?) for my first drink and still charged for a pint. Didn't ruin the game of pool though. Good quality pool balls and cues (upstairs) and comfortable seating. Food always arrives hot from the kitchen and everything is clean and sorted.
