I’ve fished here multiple times over the years, and it never disappoints. Been here for over a year now always had a day with lots of this Sunday was no different both rods hooked a at the same time in the excitement and confusion to which Rod to pickup first my phone slid out my pocket and fell in the swim after reeling in both rods 9lb and 16.5lb the excitement soon went as my phone a Galaxy 25 ultra only a month old was at the bottom of the lake I tried as did my brother and a passing fisherman to fish it out to no avail. My brother went to the tackle shop spoke to Steve the owner about me dropping my phone in the swim he put on his waders and came down got in the water and had his arm in the water feeling for the phone after 5 mins he found it I was so grateful couldn't say thank you to him enough after cleaning and drying off the phone it worked perfectly you wouldn't get service like that anywhere else can't recommend via duct enough awesome place to fish. Lodge is clean and well kept with everything needed and the private pegs make it a bonus. Although I think adding hot tubs to the current lodges would make it even better - that way me and the kids have something to do whilst the hubby does lol The lodge was very good, the was great, the two swims allocated for alpine lodge need to be improved, other than that we had a time. 6th visit.
