I visited the facility on Sunday for a charity fundraiser. The room was air-conditioned and spinning bikes were great .. Generally the intererior downstairs looked a little tired and could do with a refresh The refreshment area was closed which was disappointing not just for myself but others also Their was alot of parents and children around as well. I'm sure the centre would benefit from this being open especially at the weekend ... If I could have given somewhere between 3 and 4 I would have. It's a fun pool for kids and the jacuzzi was a big hit with mine. Very friendly staff and the cleanliness and facilities were fine. My criticism is that there's a lot going on with different groups at the same time and the 'river' is not working. Once you're used to the app it's fine for booking and timetables. I wish there weren't so many different companies running leisure centres. The outside gives the impression that it might have been closed down. Just needs a bit of tlc and a strimmer really. Love to take the kids swimming here for the family fun swim, sadly the lazy river and the water cannons are never running these days no matter which session we attend. Bit of a shame. Great when you're in a pinch but would be good if cheaper for people in need but I understand why there's a cost. No time limit, decent showers but you'll need to bring your own shower gels and stuff. The lady behind the counter was very understanding , welcoming and helpful. I wanted to use the sauna and steam for an hour. I am directed to book online. My registration is required, which requires me to provide personal and contact information and signs me up to lots of direct marketing. I attempt to register 3 times, without success. I call the desk to book over the phone. Noone picks up. Do they want my money!! Turned up anyway no booking. Sauna and steam both excellent. Sauna spacious and very hot. Reasonably priced. Have altered my rating 6 years ago we came here and were drastically put off by how freezing cold the pool was. After many conversations, today, I gave it another go with my two kids. Can't fault the pool, facilities and changing places.. The cafe food though JEEZ. We got a pancake flat pizza with more herbs than cheese and sauce put together ( not eaten) A panini hog dog that almost made my daughter sick on the spot. And a dry old tuna baked potato for me. Urgh YUK. At least I will not have to convince my kids not to eat here again! Rang 4 Times over 2 separate occasions to enquire about racquet hire for badminton- no one answered the phone.
