Even in February, it’s worth a visit. A really nice place to spend am evening or a weekend with a tent. It's quite crowded, many people come here during summers weekend days, but its still a comfortable option. There is a cave nearby that you can visit if you walk about 30 minutes. It's also a nice place to fish if you enjoy that. I love this place. The best way for me to relax is to come here, take my portable gas burner and the coffee expresor, drink a hot coffee and watch the birds on the lake. Highly recommended for the week days, not the weekend. In the weekend are a lot of people and the vibe is completely different 🙂 Nice place but the road here is just terrible. I will never visit again because of that. If you are into nature you will love it! It's a unique lake in Romania and maybe in Europe. A beatiful blue lake, great for hiking in the nearby forest or takeing a bath in the summer (only for people who are confident that they know how to swim). Nice place for cycling!
