Always a popular spot with cyclists, motorcyclists and visitors to the memorial, the Rifugio Bassano is well worth climbing to the top of Grappa for with whatever means of transport you choose. Don't let the somewhat austere looking building put you off, as inside a very warm greeting awaits. We had a very tasty meal, with particularly tasty polenta accompanying a selection of ham, meats and cheeses. The homemade bigoli with venison ragù were also a highlight!
