Becky our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of gin, and at helping us understand what types of infused flavours go well together. I would highly recommend to visit Hinch and what they produce there. stuff!!! I recently celebrated my birthday with family by going on the Hinch and a having meal in the Era restaurant afterwards. Our guide Becky was brilliant from start to finish: friendly, fun, knowledgeable, passionate and engaging - she really made the so memorable. We walked through the distillery, with Becky keeping us informed of technical and historical elements of the art of distilling, with fun anecdotes along the way... Then it was time for the tasting :) We sampled four Whiskeys, and my favourite was one that I wouldn't have expected - the Maderia Cash finish! Becky knew i was searching for a to mark my birthday and told me they had a special exclusive downstairs that was aged much longer, same finish but deeper flavour! When we returned to the giftshop we were able to have a sip, and I was sold! Then off to the Era restaurant for some food, they were serving a bunch menu and I had the Buffalo Chicken waffle which was delicious and hearty. Everyone enjoyed their food, the staff were attentive and even organised a desert for us even though there wasn't sweet options on the menu. Fantastic and Two dear friends of ours who are originally from Northern Ireland hosted us on a private of Hinch on 16 October. Claire was our guide and she was spectacular, witty, and full of knowledge. Of the sampling my favorite was the hot with lemon and cloves, almost wants you to have a cold. Also met the owner Terry, brought home our allowable limit. Only regret is I did not have Terry sign our Batch 1 special edition bottle. Highly recommend a visit and purchase.
