Suitable for walking, inline skating, jogging, nordic skiing. Usually crawdy. One of the most beautiful parks in the city. There is not much to see - just one long road (ending near city's crematory) and forest - and that's what makes it so peaceful. Nothing to distract you. If you are cycling you can cross the bridge at the end, turn left and after a while you end up in Ťahanovce. Recommend it for running, cycling or roller skating. Fresh air, nice views, nature in different clothes every season, creative wooden benchs, hills suitable for little kids, tables with explanation of the plants or animals living in our Slovak forest. Great time for walk, short or long run or cycling, clearing up your head or quiet relaxation with many birds around. We went there this week twice. Beautiful track through the woods above Furca, well-paved path that's suitable for walking and running, biking and skating. Very nice place to spend time, running, jogging, nordic walking, biking etc. Also with family. Great for people with wheelchairs and families with babies in strollers or beginner bikers (children). There is a playgraund about 0,5 km from the beginning. Wish there were more trails like that and connected to each other with access to water wells with drinking water... It's slightly downhill on the way there so you'll need more energy on the way back... Despite a windy day today, we did not feel it... Almost forgot - the bathrooms - very simple ToiToi's. No water! at the playground. At the end of the trail (or maybe about 150 m from the end ther is a restaurant with a great selection of local meals (and reasonable bathrooms). Nice park for running, cykling, walking dog or family day (there are designated areas for playing or making food on gril). Relax Great for getting away from busy city.
