The valley below is stunning to watch, its super quiet and relaxing. Spent one night in the simple but comfortable bed. Super good food and the half renovated house gave some very interesting experiences. Animals living at the estate gives a nice touch to it. Its managed by a foundation so they renovate as the money comes in. All food is organic or ecological from the surroundings. Go there! Since I visited this place for the first time five years ago, I try to return as often as possible. The food, the atmosphere, the views and the people who take care of this project - all superb :-) Since La Trappa makes part of a bigger Slow Food Travel project, it's a great opportunity to visit the whole area and enjoy its historical and culinary highlights!
