Very fine place! It's a very nice place to have a few beers or coffee and chill. The is just in front so you can also swim. Ambiente, da gibt's einen Punkt Abzug, da die Beachbar diret an der Straße liegt, hat man es aber erst mal an den Strand und den dazugehörigen Sunbeds geschafft, ist alles bestens. Das Angebot, die Getränke und das Essen sind sehr gut und der Service freundlich und bemüht. Klein, aber fein und gegen der Strasse ist direkt der Strand. Liegen und Schirme gibt es gratis, wenn man was bestellt. Best place in the area, very relaxing, good food & drinks, friendly staff and good music. Cozy as usual. Since it is further out from Sitia , the water at the is cleaner. Beware of the rocks , when you enter the water. Ageras is my favorite spot , to combine swimming and drinks/light food, when I am in Sitia. Coffee was fine, but had to wait 25 minutes for the waiter, finally got her attention after several tries, to get the menu. Other customers had to get up to get her attention too, since she didn't notice anyone. 7th of August, at 2PM. Best bar in Sitia area. Cool place with great service and very good food. Reasonable prices and amazing cocktails either handmade in place or ready made in bottles from Clumsies (3rd best bar in the world). Highly recommended it. Ps. We have been going here for the last 10 years! I spent a week in Sitia in the middle of July 2021. I stayed at a hotel in the city center and spent my days at the Ageras cafe/bar hanging out at the (using one of the umbrellas) and at the cafe working on my computer and spending time gazing at the sea. Ageras is by far the best cafe/bar in Sitia. Located only few hundred yards from the city center, it is clean, modern, airy, surrounded by trees, it has great snacks and fresh fruit smoothies. It offers great views as well as yoga classes. It is run by Argiris who makes a great effort to take care of his customers (when he is not windsurfing). I would highly recomended to anyone who visits Sitia.
