Love this beach, so lovely and peaceful. Such a trendy little area. Beautiful Pebble beach. Lovely town n really nice locals & visitors around like no drunks etc. it's for the families and everyone who is looking for a great time, family fun or picnic. U can get amazing photos of sunrise or sunset. Plenty of options for places to eat or drink around the beach. More in high street which is not far. This town is really good for seafood. Pier is a place of fun. Very good and sea front. It’s not Sandy but we still have a nice day out. There are part of the you can swim but water was too cold today, so didn’t have a swim. There is sea front paid car parking for up to 4 hours, but you should find free ones further away from the sea. Cafe and Toilet near the west side of the where you can get coffee and tea and ice cream. Brilliant food not too far from London Lovely pebble where you can also go crabbing, lots of shops and arcades nearby and toilet facilities, parking and fish and chips shops. You can also walk along the coast down to Whitstable it took us just over an hour Lots of resources. Funfair on pier. Amusements have gone down hill recently. Ice cream shops keep closing down. Lovely beach. Good play area. Lovely quirky shop huts on the pier It's clean the shops lovely better than coffee shop and the museum gift shop has lots of hand made very reasonable very lovely gifts to take home or keep There's an over priced trendy water front cafe but the pub up the road still waterfront but not such bug windows to see out of has excellent sit down and eat fish and chips etc at London fish and chips take away prices plus staff lovely atmosphere clean and very dog friendly Your pooch will be given a bowl of water for certain. Lots of parking and situated not too far from London so easily done in a day but better still spend a night . It's all slow paced and chilled and of course the air is Such a lovely and clean beach! Thoroughly enjoyed spending the day here! Lucky enough to get the fresh doughnuts (great memories of my childhood)! Hubby was super happy as he got his slush puppy! Chip shop and other restaurants are all walking distance and all the facilities are just great! I’d definitely recommend this and will be coming back here! Nice to see some celebrities too!!! A place for a stroll! The long promenade is perfect for comfortable walks, there are many cosy cafes and comfortable benches around. The is clean, you can find beautiful stones and shells. And the sea view is simply mesmerising - especially at sunset. A place to relax and enjoy nature! Visited Herne Bay on a freezing cold post Christmas break. It's a quintessential British seaside town steeped in history. Even during the winter there are limited areas to take a dog onto the beach. It's impossible during the Summer. Great range of eateries.
