My wife and I visited this for the first time today, a lovely, warm, sunny afternoon. The setting is beautiful. The botanical is in the grounds of the old castle or manor house, which itself looks to be a magnificent building, although I don't think it's open to the public. The old military accommodation next door and the house itself seem to date from only 1905-1906 but they look neglected. The grounds/park looks neglected. And, yes, the botanical looks neglected. It left us feeling so very sad. There is a plaque just inside the gate to the botanical which explains that it was created and opened in 1998. Whoever did all the beautiful work involved could never have imagined that, just 23 years later, the would look this way. Whoever is responsible now for the house, grounds and botanical really should feel ashamed that such a truly gorgeous creation can have been left so uncared for. It is so beautiful, so peaceful, such a wonderful find that it deserves better. Much, much better. Silesia is not full of beauty. So where it does exist, it should be looked after and nurtured. Why on earth can a business, educational and climatological case not be made to bring these grounds and botanical back to their former beauty, using local government and European funding, opening a cafe in say one room of the house and charging visitors a moderate sum to park their cars and enjoy walking and cycling in the grounds. Not to invest and not to encourage the public to visit this idyllic spot is a sad state of affairs. Anyone who has visited the castle and park at Pszczyna has seen what can be done. Having said all of that, I would still definitely recommend visiting, if only to open people's eyes to the neglect so evident here. Ogród botaniczny byłby piękny, gdyby ktoś się nim bardziej zaopiekował. Niestety nie jest zbyt zadbany, ścieżki są wąskie i zarośnięte, całość wygląda zbyt dziko. Przydałyby się może jakieś ławeczki. Miejsce warto zobaczyć. Dobre na spacery. Pięknie! Polecam spacery po tym ogrodzie. Tajemnicze i nieznane ludziom miejsce. I to jest w nim najlepsze!! Cisza, spokój, ogród żyje własnym życiem, co dodaje mu tylko uroku. Polecam 👍 Wspomnienia wśród drzew, krzewów, grzybów, ziół leczniczych teraz. A kiedyś wino kobiety i śpiew, żyganie powódzie Fajne miejsce na spacer samotnie, dla par lub tak jak ja z rodziną. Nawet pięcioletnia córka nie nudziła się, biegała od jednego kwiatka do drugiego i zachwycała się ich zapachem i wyglądem. Polecam. Szkoda tylko że niema żadnej dodatkowej infrastruktury w pobliżu, jakiejś małej knajpki i placu zabaw dla dzieci. Super miejsce na spacer. Miejsce idealne na spacer o każdej porze roku.
