The lounge chairs are really comfortable and the service is amazing. The menu is reasonable priced and the food was good not great. The is a combination of sand and rocks but still easy to enter the water. Wear swing shoes if that makes you feel uncomfortable walking on rocks to enter. The view is breathtaking and a place to forget about the outside world. I would highly recommend coming to Sandova if your from the city or just visiting enjoy and thank me later. Remember to ask the charge for chairs. Βρώμικη πισίνα, χάλια εξυπηρέτηση, ακριβές ξαπλώστρες χωρίς λόγο This cafe is located on the street above a called Santova..the service is great..the sun beds are beautiful although you have to pay 15 euros to have one but you can be there all day with just ordering a frappe or a soft drink..the water is gorgeous but has rocks when you enter then sand..I love this place in kalamata Greece 🇬🇷 Είναι χαλαρωτικό, πολύ όμορφο χώρος μέσα στην θάλασσα, αλλά διαθέτει και πισίνα , από πίσω υπάρχει ο Ταϋγέτος, καταπληκτικά A beautiful beach, but the owner of this bar is just utterly greedy. Barely any people there in september, when you come at 5 pm they still want 15 - 30 Euro only for their sunbeds. This is totally untypical for greece and especially this area. I can only recommend to take one of the basic sunbeds at the left of the bar and take them behind their beer banners or bring your own chairs, then you are out of their service zone and can stay for free. We wanted to order drinks, but with this audacity I rather have nothing. One of the most fabulous side bars I know, and I've seen a few in the Caribbean, Turkey and Cambodia. The atmosphere is super-chilled, views across the Messinian Gulf, comfy sofas, shady trees, friendly staff, basic food menu pasta, pizzas, salads, hamburgers, all good. Other than Saturday/Sunday, plenty of parking along the front. Bravo to Kostas and Stamatis. More than that, bravo to the DJ who brings up the spirits and then to the rest of the staff which brings over the “other spirits”. The sea view and the whole setup is magnificent. I went in may, the food was perfect, the service, and the place is very nice, we had pizza and a salad, both delicious, we really enjoy it and will come back! We have been for dinner, staff is friendly, good food and minimal waiting time. There was even live music on Saturday night Beautifull beach, coming here for 20 years. This year they have introduced charges for sun-beds. Not coming back again. Totally unethical, the only place in Kalamata that is charging for sunbeds. The pool area and the bar are the same for many years no improvements. Πήγαμε Σεπτέμβρη. Ήσυχα και άνεση. Δε γνωρίζω για full season. with crystal clear waters. I love this bar because it is somewhat further out and attracts the crowd that appreciates a good and music. There is also a pool on the other side of the road and a shaded basketball court! The owner and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend. Perfect sea with some pebbles at the start. The loungers are of quality however a bit pricey overall. 15€ for the set, 4,5€ for coffee and 12€-14€ for cocktails. Inattentive and slow service.
