Located on a slope of a scenic hill - it's lovey to wake up to a choir of birds chirping outside. Our room (double) was quite comfortable, but sadly there were two separate beds that we had to put together. Maybe at least the legs of those beds could be firmly connected when a couple is visiting? Bathroom was humongous and with a big tub instead of the typical italian shower without sink. I recommend a typical shower with a sink as a pinnacle of hygienic armature. The room was very cold (we were there in late April) but we didn't know during our first night, that the AC could be used to heat too, silly us. So keep that in mind. One thing that I would like to point out to the owners- the doors to our room (second on the right on the third floor) were not fitting too well to their frame. That's one thing to fix then. Also, almost everyone now is using a carriage luggage with wheels, it would be great to acces the entrance to the hotel with those. Or on a wheelchair for that matter. The hotel has a lot of balconies and facilities for kids, playground. Food was tasty and the service staff helpfull and polite. Best restaurant to have seafood in the area. This is a family run kitchen with super professional and friendly owner. 5 stars service, will definitely come back for more. I'd advise you to try all the antipasto offered, we have had 10, 1 primo and 1 secondo to finish the meal, the price is also great, for the amount of food and drinks we had (wine, water, soft drinks and coffee) I felt we should have paid more. I'd recommend it. The room was cold and the heater into the bathroom didn't work so we felt like walking into a fridge! Also the hot water didn't work we had to ask for it and we had to wait about 30 min to be fixed! The double bed wasn't double and was a big gap between the two beds put together. A lot of noise but this was due to some "people" screaming and jumping around! Unfortunately not a great experience! Very good rooms. You might find something broken in your room. The people in hotel are very good, kind and nice. The hotel also looks great, but it's hard to find (a.k.a. in the middle of nowhere) I just left La Ripa after a few days holiday. As I experienced last year it was an awesome stay. I had opportunity of spending there some days in wintertime too. The rooms are confortable and clean. The restaurant offers a delicious menu card with dishes prepared out of local products. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful. I would undoubtfully suggest this place for a really enjoyable holiday in Fiuggi.
