Good food and very helpful staff, who made a cute bunny shaped pizza for my granddaughters 😁 Since the refurbishment the restaurant has been modernised thoroughly. The self- service choice is mostly typical of these mountain restaurants. However, generally speaking the food I have tried has been very good. Sometimes better than city restaurants. The guy who makes the fresh pizza to order makes very good pizzas. The dough has clearly been proved for a significant time, and is typically cooked perfectly. Also of note is the gentleman who makes the salmon dish; he makes it perfectly, flaky and moist in the middle. At the last visit as I picked up a plate of homemade Apfelstrudel, they asked if I wanted vanilla sauce/custard. Even though the kitchen had pretty much shut down and everything was cleaned up, the senior chef made a fresh serving right there and then, whisking it in the pan. Such nice service, hence overall 5*.
