It is simply unacceptable to keep in such conditions. Some of them were in dirty enclosures, and what shocked me most was the constant noise from planes flying overhead every two minutes as they take off from the nearby airport. The looked stressed and uncomfortable, which was heartbreaking to see. This place is not really a zoo, but more of a farm-like setup, and in my opinion it is not worth the entrance fee at all (wich is 10 frank per adult and for children under 16 years). I only paid in the hope that the money would be used for the animals’ care. Unfortunately, after seeing the conditions, I left feeling upset and regretful. I cannot believe such a place exists in Geneva, a city I expected to be more respectful toward animal welfare. Honestly, I hope someone will start a local petition to relocate this or shut it down, because should not be forced to live under constant stress and poor living conditions. We visited during the lundi de paque, parking was full, there is a staff outside to guide you to find parking just around the area. For 1st time visitors entrance is free. Donations or being a member for 50chf is highly recommended. The works with volunteers. Top (sois généreux) We went last weekend and had the best time!! It was our first with the kids during this summer holidays - they only charge entry fees for adults (Ch 10) and children over 12yrs old. It's accessible by bus and private vehicles as well.
