Fantastic beach, no real parking and a little tricky to get there, please dont bring smal children here, The May Hurt themself on The way there. Ήσυχο μέρος για ένα χαλαρό όμορφο μπάνιο στα κρυστάλλινα νερά του Λιβυκού πελάγου. Ça vaut vraiment le détour ! Solitaria e selvaggia. Perfetta per rilassarsi Access is about 4.5kms on unpaved road, on the way from/to Tris Iklesias. Small secluded where you'll most probably be alone. No taverns of showers there, just a couple of apartments. You need to clamber slightly on the rocks but theres a ladder at the bottom then. A hidden paradise awaits you after a short 10-minute drive along a scenic dirt road. You can park your vehicle near the buildings above the beach. From there, an easy 3-minute walk leads you to this secluded spot. A metal staircase assists with the final descent, taking you directly onto the beach. It’s a peaceful location, ideal for those looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The locals have even installed a rope to help climb the rocks, allowing you to dive safely. There are also caves to explore for the more adventurous. There is a small rocky island Thetis south west from the beach. The area around the island and further to the shore is interesting to explore as a freediver. The sea next to island is up to 10m deep. You can also step to the island if you are careful. The rocks are not very sharp. You can get down to the sea closer to the island 300m before Voidomatis where there is parking place next to the road. The terrain down to small bay is steep but possible to walk down. There is even small patch of pebble there. Next small one is in next bay. There are nice big rocks and boulders south on the shore to climb and walk on. The rocks are light color limestone and do not get too hot in summer. You can walk there barefoot :) Amazing little bay! I’ve never seen a more colourful water, some cliffs to jump (there are ropes to help you get onto them), no sand, just pebbles, enough natural shade. The ride from the north is quite something, crossing the mountains. Last part is a dirt (10min) but doable. Overall one of the best experiences in Crete! Beautiful rocky beach. We came on the 19th of September and there was no one else there 😍 you can get there with a car rather easily, only the last stretch leads through a rocky rode. No need to hike, there are steps that lead to the itself. Beautiful beach! Small, but beautiful! We came on Sunday, and there were a lot of people, whole families. If you go, then go not on thw weekends, then you will find this place peaceful. Shade starts coming at 16.30, so come from early. BUT: don't use the that comes through the Church of the Holy Spirit- the was damaged during the winter(and even not damaged, it is still very off-road)...low car will never pass, unless you want to damage it. Use the that is more to the left(looking on the map), through the Passo Tris Ekklisies...somehow Google is not suggesting this way, but this way is with asphalt and only last 3 km are dusty off-road. The water was crystal clear and mostly sandy - one of the most beautiful and perfect beaches I have visited. But go early to get a sunbed. They sold out early. Very beautiful beach, easy to descend even with small vehicle and a 5min walk via staircase. Unfortunately when we visited it was full of parked boats on the shore leaving no space for swimming. very beautiful beach, I go there every summer since I was little Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
