Πήγα το 30/4/2024 και όταν πήγα φτιάχνανε το δρόμο. Ήταν παρά πολύ όμορφο και ενδιαφέρον αλλά θα έπρεπε να ήταν πιο καθαρό. The mythological place that Kronos was born a on the top of the hill with very view to plato of lasithi . Fairly long and tiring walk up. but nice. Πολύ όμορφη και σύντομη περιπατητική διαδρομή. Ενδείκνυται και για μικρά παιδιά. Kind of hard to find. and once you're there it's really cool, convinient on a hot summer dat Not too many things to see. Accessible on foot from the main street, about 10mins walking distance. The is very small, take your phone with you to use it as a torch. is small, but had to do as the Zeues was closed. Not much parking but free to see. Lovely views from the top , rarely visited. Free entrance. We were on our own . shaded stone laid path and cool interior. Need a strong light when in the dark .20 m deep I guess . Great escape from the heat if you are nearby Nothing spectacular but worth a visit if you're driving by. Take a torch to make it worthwhile, a phone will be average. It's obviously self guided. I went as dusk and there was no one around. Also a shame people have been breaking some of the structures in the cave. Great cave. Worth the little track up. No tourist just peacefulness. Along the way, there are benches perfect to rest and meditate cave, some 500M up very steep stairs (not signposted from the track). Can park at football pitch nearby if the couple of places on the trail start are full. Only some 30M deep as far as I could see. Two branches. No lighting. Few bits of long dead goat lying about. Needs a torch or bright phone light to get to end. draperies. Fascinatingly there are some outside the cave, presumably exposed as the mountain above has eroded. Not much to see here, 20-30m deep, few dry formations, bring your own torch... Parking on football pitch or roadside Curiosité à voir si on passe à proximité. Le site est bien aménagé mais pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Quelques marches à monter avant d'y arriver et il y a un grand espace pour garer son véhicule. Le site est gratuit. The is rather small, if you dont want to go through the little holes where someone thin can only crawl into. But the sights outside are beautiful. About 20min hike. There are steps throughout the walk. Very entrance and cave. Need a flashlight to go further in. Wasn't worth it. Easy to find, we parked our car on the other side of the road. Just a but the way up was really nice, views and still exciting! Its a cave, about 20 meters deep. A very walk towards the entrance. All in all it will keep you busy for one hour max after arriving. Would recommend checking out when close by, would not recommend specifically going to it for just the A little walk up the hill, about 10 minutes if you are quick. The inside was very chilled, wich was a welcome feeling after the little walk up the hill in the scorching sun. If you are a bit of a climber like me, I suggest climbing up the hill behind the entrance of the cave. You get a stunning view of the Lasithi Plateau between the mountains.
