It is sad that the village looks partially abandoned. We need more small shops and local communities. Lovely place! Amazing nature, and absolutely astonishing! It is fantastic how you can see the different states and layers of the stones and hardened lava. I recommend this place a lot. Surprisingly nice waterfall, great to have a dip in during hot summer afternoons. Not a lot of people seem to know it, so not very crowded either Nice place to visit with kids Good waterfall, must have to visit during a hot day and recover near it in a shadow with nice view and fresh air This waterfall and the lava field surrounding it are a surprisingly unknown quiet place, you get back in touch with nature and it feels ancient. I give it 4* just because there's some work left to finish (actually in progress) in the walking path that follows, the "3 Colades" route, but actually it's really lovely and I'd rather it kept its off-the-beaten track atmosphere.
