At lunch time the set menu will let you ready for a nice nap if you too it up with some ratafia :-) Racist and rude service. I made a reservation for calcots and called them a day in advance to book a table for terrace as I would be coming with my dog. When we reached the waiter saw us and refused to my face that they have no reservation under my name and just went back in. I had asked for a reservation at 14:00 but they told me they could only take us at 15:30 so we arranged our whole day and hikes around this reservation and in the end we were turned away. I’m also more pissed because obviously all other restaurants had closed their kitchens after 15:0 so our family had to skip lunch. Never experienced this before at a restaurant so not sure if it’s pure racism or incompetence. Anyway, you don’t want my money I’ll happily take it somewhere else. The grill masters. In a wonderful location, miles away from Masterchef, truly genuine catalan mountain food. There's a parking lot big enough. But you have to be patient. I forgot to mention, they're almost at the beginning of the Alta Garrotxa park, if you come from Girona The best place in the area for eating a rib eye. Simple but delicious food in a tipical Catalan ancient house. Highly recommended! Amazing food and wine. The 14 euro menu comes with salad and bread for free. The catalan food was really good and we had so much to eat. Superior quality to anything you find in big touristic cities. The best grilled rabbit I ever try and Catalan style homemade sausage Authentic Catalan cuisine in the mountains, excellent local menu with tasty salads and lots of meat options. The stuff is friendly and easy-going, the restaurant looks like a farm house and many locals go there to eat. Desserts were interesting and hard to find in places like Barcelona, so it's worth the visit I'd you want to eat what Catalans actually like. Excellent price/quality ratio. The daily menu was pretty good. For 17€ you get a lot of choices for the first and second course. You also get plenty of bread, water and salad for free. The grilled meat in particular was tender and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who visits the Alta Garrotxa region.
