The place is conveniently located near the archaeological site. It features excellent facilities, including free car parking and several clean, well-maintained bathrooms. The was outstanding. The staff was highly knowledgeable about gluten-free options and took exceptional care to prevent cross-contamination—an ideal spot for celiacs. Our waiter was incredibly kind, explaining everything in detail and making sure all our needs were met. The food was truly impressive—delicious flavors and generous portions! It's a family-friendly spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Without a doubt, we would come back if we had the chance. Highly recommended! Nestled near next to ancient Olympia , this Greek gem serves up tradition with every bite. From perfectly grilled souvlaki to creamy tzatziki and fresh village salads, the flavors are authentic and unforgettable. The warm hospitality and rustic charm make it more than a meal, it’s a cultural experience. A must-visit for anyone craving real Greek soul food in the cradle of the Olympics. A lovely family owned close to all the main sights of Olympia. The food was delicious, portions large, and prices reasonable. They gave us complimentary lemon cake fresh from the oven to end our meal. Highly recommend! The price for two people who ate a tomatoes salad, a plate of fries, a chicken souvlaki, a bottle of water, and a plate of rice with two hamburgers was close to 40 euros Excellent food, with the authentic taste of a home made meal, always fresh and super tasty! The portions are generous, the is spot-on and the amtosphere is nice and quiet, away from the busy streets in the centre of Omylpia. Nikos does an excellent job in the kitchen, while Christos and Athina are always very nice and helpful, with fast and the best recommendations. They have a huge terrace in the back whre you can enjoy your in quiet and relax. The best we had in Greece! It was well worth the walk from the crowded ancient Olympia site. The owner was extremely courteous and catered to my daughter’s gluten allergy. We even enjoyed olives from his own plantation and we finished every bit of the delicious meal. Highly recommended! We stopped by at the on our way to Olympia, and I have to say it was among our best experience both regarding the food and hospitality. The is run by a family, who gave us warm welcome and recommendations regarding the food as well. We ordered the stuffed vine leaves, moussaka and tzatziki and everything was just amazing. I also have to mention their home grown olives which were served as an appetizer and they were the best olives we’ve ever had in our lives. We also got a visit from the village’s dog Canela who is fed by the locals. We really appreciated that the owners of the treat her well and not just send her away as a stray dog. It’s a small thing, but shows how this place has not only good food but is ran by good people. Overall, an excellent experience and our visit to Filoxenia played a huge role in us having a great day in Olympia. An amazing experience Greek food with heart and soul. Family run with passion and exuberance. Reasonably priced and honest staff can guide your experience. Highlights included and tomato fritters as well as anything from the grill. I would like to see it busy hopefully if we return one day. We decided to eat dinner here spontaneously and it was a great decision! Beautiful Location, fast and friendly and delicious food! They even gifted us a little delicious cake as dessert since we were their only guests! You'll definitely feel welcome here, I can totally recommend! They deserve more customers!!! Nice and quiet not on the busy noisy street, the cook Nikos with his son Christos make a really good team. Christos very attentive and on point with the orders while his father rocks the stove in a very tasty manner. So , yes I recomend you Filoxenia! We stopped at this family-friendly for lunch and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The and food was excellent. My family of four enjoyed the eggplant salad, stuffed grape leaves, pork souvlaki, gyro sandwich, french fries and chicken kebab. The serving sizes were generous and the servers were friendly and responsive. They really lived up to their name by showing us true Greek hospitality!
