Owners pay a huge amount every year for various licences which however allow them the bear minimum of accommodation and services to provide customers . For example if the owner builds a toilet that can’t be torn down after the season he will be fined for illegal building or places an umbrella in the wrong spot for a customer it may cost a 3k fine. I’ve been visiting from the US several years been everywhere and I always visit seagull where I never paid for a seat or umbrella , free parking , seaside, cocktails are affordable with fresh fruit not pulps ,, cold coffee ecofriedly recyclable cups , natural habitat respectful restrictions and more. Now if you’re looking for a luxury Santorini Mykonos experience with entitlement and pampering the whole coast in this area is not for you .
