Super busy but still nice to have a day on a beach...easy to get there from Amstrdam by train. It was a wonderful experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed the sensation of flying sand. Lovely, wide and pet friendly 🤍🤍🌊 full of restaurants but it doesn’t make it invasive bc the is really large. Super close to Amsterdam so you can visit before or after going there. The restaurants in the itself are not absurdly expensive so you can enjoy it all… North Sea is in my heart now :) One of the best options in the North Sea. More reasonably priced accommodation than the other towns. Definitely worth staying a few nights Beautiful, huge, sandy beach. With restaurants and walkways and bikes tracks. The fine sand is wondefull. The water is aprox 20* Celsius în July and August. This is one of the most nice beaches in the Netherlands. The is very long so You can walk for ours. You can chill or play here in the sun or go swimming in the sea. There are special times and places where and when it is not so crowded. The air is fresh and it is totaly relaxing just to be there. At all a very good place to charge Your energy! Very neat and clean which is just1 hr away from the Amsterdam city centre, very frequent train ride available, enjoy you journey and the pleasant water, very windy though, there is fish eatery nearby which serve great food, a must try Overcrowded place by good weather. The nearby located supermarket was out of any cold or cooled water. Prices at the are insane. 4€ for a small water by almost 39 degrees. The itself with the large sand is pretty clean and you can easy enter the large wide sea. Clean and beautiful with some seashells along the shore. In the morning, a few people were at the beach, but toward lunch time more people showed up, but the was not crowded, with plenty of room to run around, play volleyball, sunbathe or just relax. Some people were having surfing lessons amd swimming in the water. Very nice and clean beach!
