Great place to get a 3 bedroom house that is easy to get into Amsterdam and Haarlem, if you have a car. The pool, playgrounds and other entertainment were an added bonus. experience. Sadly they charge extra for the linen which on top of the regular charge can make it expensive. We found the location to be ok but the trains at the moment are having refurbishment so we were unable to get into Amsterdam without paying for a taxi. The is otherwise very clean and comfortable. The area was very peaceful and tranquil. We didn’t have time to use the gym or swimming pool but it looked great from the outside. I would recommend it here. Nice and quiet bungalow in the vicinity of Amsterdam. The city is only 20 minutes away by train. €3.30/ride. You can drive your car to the station at about 1.5k distance from the bungalow park. When we visited they were working on the tracks so we had to take a bus instead. But those rode very frequently as well. Very nice bungalows, quite new as well. We had the 6 person bungalow. desk isn't opened very long though. Highly advisable if you want to avoid and extremely expensive hotel in the city. This place is a brutal scam. If I could you tell you different, I would but this is their choice. No warm water, bad beds, no toilet paper, no normal kitchen appliances, no pillows, no pillows outside, everything around the house is a mess, toilet stinks and when you give this list of complaints, they do nothing. They don’t care and said that they would come somewhere to the house. One man come to look for the warm water, the faucet was(and still) broken, they concluded it but it is for the one to decide when he wants to repairs. So 5 days still cold water and nothing. People not taking responsibility. Please don’t come here, We will never come back. A very quiet place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Perfect if you want somewhere away from the city but close enough for an evening out. swimming pool with fitness room , the restaurant is but the food is good. There is a shop in but you will need to travel to a supermarket. Staff were friendly enough. The accommodation is lovely with many lodges overlooking ponds ar the river. play for kids and a little petting zoo. If you are looking for an affordable, homely stay, this is a great option. We were a of 4 girls and the charges were around 45 euros per night per head. They have cabin type accommodations. Ours had 2 and one common area with a kitchen, sofas, TV, dining table and chairs, dishwasher, cutlery, stove, pans, toaster. It was very clean. They have a parking system, swimming pool, sauna, and even gym. It is like 25 min walk from the nearest bus stop. The nearest flix stop (Amsterdam sloterdijk) is a 12 min drive. The uber is also not so expensive from the city centre if you are going in a group. We had a lovely stay. We initially chose this place because it had parking, but honestly, it’s better to just leave your car at the station and take the into the city center. While it might be more expensive to in the center, you'll save both time and money on fares by avoiding the daily commute. I requested early check-in (only 35€ 😂) three times via the booking platform. They mentioned you could check in from 13:00, but they didn’t manage to reserve or confirm it. I also ordered towels (only 8€ per person), but I had to go pick them up myself. They charge 10€ for bed linens, and you have to make the bed yourself 😀. At night, the house cooled down to 18°C, even though I set the thermostat to 21°C. The pillows were completely misshapen, and there wasn’t even any soap in the bathroom. Trying to make with the machine tripped the electricity four times. On the positive side, the location is good—just a 23-minute walk to the station through a park. However, the bathroom ceiling has mold. Overall, this place might work if you’re planning a long stay, but for just a few days, it’s not worth the hassle. They charge you for absolutely everything, and after all that, you still need to clean, strip the linens, turn off the heating, and take out the trash, wash dishes 😃. Clean, green, peaceful… close to Amsterdam. But, you can hear the airplanes…. So it can be noisy, but wasn’t interrupted us…good location… not busy…. Supermarkets near by… Car parking in by the rooms. Oven was not that but we did have great meals… The kitchen had all kinds of different dishes you need for cooking. They should improve on cleaning the houses. Nor all houses have aircon. So it will be hot in the summer and cold during the winter time. Great place with man-made pond in the back yard. Quiet area that is gated so is secure. Registration/park store hours are a little short but could work around it. I am used to renting an airbnb so getting used to not having the basics for cooking(salt, pepper, oil, etc) was different but we were warned about that as well. Terribly rude service at the reception. Ladies make a problem out of everything, even when they say morning. They told me that there were no vacancies when I made an online reservation. They cheated me many times with a refund and despite leaving the house in a better, cleaner condition than I received, they deducted the money for dirty dishes. This is unacceptable. These ladies treat the and cottages as their property, like their own farm, with contempt for the customer. It's a shame that there are still such people in the 21st century. This was one of our most disappointing parts of our trip to the Netherlands. Our unit was superficially clean but the radiators were filled with dust. There were no instructions for us on how to use the over stove fan and light, being from overseas these appliances were not familiar to us. Similarly there were no instructions on how to regulate the heating system, we went from freezing in the morning to baking in the afternoon. The Senseo maker was broken, and as part of our deluxe package we received drip instead of Senseo pods. We had one dinner fork for 4 people and regards of repeated requests we did not receive additional forks. There was a sewer backup in our unit and the stench was so overwhelming we had to leave the unit. We were assured someone would come to rectify the issue before 6 pm, yet when we saw the maintenance crew on the street watering flowers, they had not received a work order to address the issue. We left a day early and after listing all the issues we had experienced, we were assured someone would contact us the next day. Other than an email to complete a satisfaction survey sent several days after we left (which was completed with a list of all the issues), we have not received any communication from Europarc. While the staff were friendly enough, there was just a bare minimum done to address the concerns and issues we had. We would definitely not recommend staying here. Location is but the are reaching 40 degrees inside, some of them have AC installed but not mine, I've been complaining about months, I guess they are waiting for me to get a heatstroke such a beautiful place, the were astounding and customer service is amazing! food there was also very enjoyable. Before making the reservation we contact the of Europarcs Spaarnwoude, for information and if we needed to with any amount withheld to be able to there, at the time of the call it was informed that we did not need to pay extra amounts to stay, only the value of the accommodation, bedding, and tourist tax. However, when we went to the one day after arrival, we were informed that we would have to pay €400 for shorts, and they charged the bed linen twice, €43.80 at the time of booking, and another €43.80 when going to the reception. When questioning the receptionist about it, she didn't give any explanation, only that we would have to pay. The website doesn't say anything about these rates. And also when we arrived at the cottage we still found garbage in the baskets. In other words, the experience was a disappointment, even though the is beautiful. One of the most outrageous stays in all of Europe. with black mold and deceptive business practices. - Customer Experience - We are a of 9 exchange students. We checked in on November 15 evening and booked 2 rooms. When we arrived, we were told to pay 100 euro deposit each person for a 3 night and had to pay for bed/duvet covers. Only 1 key is available and an extra key is 35 euro extra charge. One of the had black mold on the ceiling, was poorly cleaned and not safe to live in. One member of our had asthma, and there were genuine health concerns with the state of the cabin. We went back to to confront them about the matter, and the receptionist offered to send cleaners to "wipe off" the mold. They refused to offer a refund/compensation, because we had already "checked-in." It had been a long day. We were hungry and cold after a long bus ride, and dealing with a defensive receptionist with a poor attitude was the last thing we wanted. Eventually, the receptionist reluctantly offered a room change, with more acceptable living conditions. - Amenities Used - A box of dish soap, garbage bags, tea bags, coffee, filters, and sugar were available. 1 roll of toilet paper available. Towels are 8 euros each for rent. There is a gym available opened from morning until 8pm everyday with 1 cable and 3 cardio machines. The receptionist has to grant a "special ticket" to use the gym, which I was unable to get because the receptionist was closed, even though the gym hours are still open. The washer costs 5.5 Euros and the dryer costs 4.5 Euros. I was charged twice by machine error when using the dryer. I was unable to bring this issue up to the because they were closed at 12pm to 1pm on a Sunday. - Our Cabin - The 6 person cabin was high quality and a very cozy living environment. There is heating and the were relatively tidy. There's a kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, and machine. Some cutlery and dishes were used/dirty in the cabinets upon arrival. Very spatious and cozy and our was satisfied with the stay. - Location - The closest station is a 25 minute walk away. It takes about 40-50 minutes to reach Amsterdam Centraal. Not a very ideal location for those without a car. - Last Thoughts - Our has travelled across many cities — hostels, hotels, airbnbs — in Europe and Europarc was by far the worst experience. We regret booking at Europarc and advise other large groups to support more ethical, less money-hungry hospitality businesses.
