We didn't know how this would work so we didn't and had to pay Eur 2 to buy one. You head out into the fields and take what you want, then you weigh it at the end and pay. They do have a card machine. There is lots of space for kids to play. The food options after you're done picking apples are a bit average and limited but the grounds are beautiful and it's a nice way to get out the city. It was my first apple picking experience. Me and my 6 year old son had a great time. Do not miss it. The whole place had a fantastic vibe. The shops and food were very good. It took us 15 mins to enter and park but I am not complaining. Even after calling twice, the person I spoke to assured us it was coming any minute but it never came.
