This is a fantastic restaurant a few kilometres from Kos town. It sits next to the sea with a view of Turkey in the distance. The restaurant has a boat anchored just off shore which lights up at night which is very attractive. We went to this restaurant on a number of occasions. The times that we had food we experienced excellent cooking with fine fresh ingredients cooked with care. The fish and the steaks were very impressive. More often than not we simply had a half karafe of wine and watched the sea as night fell. The staff were excellent and made us feel welcome and relaxed. We also enjoyed the atmosphere that was enhanced by some great play lists with everything from Frank Sinatra to Elton John and many artists we have never heard of. If you want to a place to sit by the sea, drink good wine and eat excellent food Okeanos is the place to go My husband and I visited here twice last week. The staff are so friendly and chatty! They speak very good English & recommended nice food to us. The food was very beautifully presented & delicious & the mocktails were so good! The restaurant is beautiful and you couldn't get closer to the sea if you tried! Thank you to Ali and George for making us feel so welcome! We miss you already! And the location is just beautiful 😍 The food is absolutely delicious: fresh ingredients, well- cooked and presented! The oil and the tomato sauce used are supreme but also the fish of the day I had was extremely good served with a large portion of vegetables. The atmosphere is that of an enchanting picturesque spot by the sea, a pleasant way to chill off a day in amazement. For me this is the best restaurant in Kos. Everything we ordered was just excellent! The location is lovely overlooking the ocean. Definitely try the chili oil shrimps, mushrooms and vitello tonnato. Little gem of a place! Amazing food and service.. home grown and cooked from scratch definitely comes out in the flavour... Well worth the walk out of Kos town for a chilled laid back vibe with incredible views.. Seafood platter is the best I've had.. wish we had time to come back this trip! Me and my girlfriend had our first holiday to kos this year and we decided the first night to try this place, we’ve visited 5 times over the week and the food has been exceptional every time. The staff are amazing and really welcoming, the views whilst eating are incredible being able to watch over the sea. Honestly not a single bad thing to say about this place, would recommend to anyone visiting kos, amazing staff, food and views. Would 100% come back again! Beautiful place to eat out, amazing servers/ staff. We’re a party of 15 they made our table big enough without us asking, Our drinks and food was out and served so fast.
