Lovely scenic little town with beautiful houses as well as lovely street where tourists can get some souvenirs. We loved visiting the port. The ships in the port were beautiful and so well kept. The smell of the sea and the feel of the town was so nice. Nice place which serve nice kibbeling with a lookalike pop up stall , but the food were amazing . A nice experience. A quaint little fishing town with its own history and has been preserved well. Is quite commercialised but i guess thats ok as people do need to make a living as well. You get amazing views of the sea, very photographic streets, houses and shops - amazing food options by the port and ferry to the adjoining island of Marken. For the extremely touristy people there are shops that offer dress up in traditional Dutch costumes to take photos. A few gift shops and restaurants complete the small sea side walk. Free parking is available but on good days its bound to be busy. Worth a 2 hour visit/ Nice walk, small shops and cozy little cafes "As Picturesque as a Postcard" in real life that is the only way to describe this majestic hidden gem of a fishing village. It's a must visit if you're ever passing 🇳🇱🧡🇳🇱😊💃🏼☀️🚢⛵🛥️ We were on a tour of this town. Here we visited a cheese farm and waffle shop, it was very interesting. Very beautiful views, although at that time there was fog, but still we were able to see the houses, very atmospheric and very interesting architecture.
