The karts are powerful and the is well designed, with many perks to make the challenging and enjoyable. We stayed there for dinner afterwards and the service was very attentive and friendly. I've been here twice, the first was for laser tag with my mates and the second was with my bowling partner. You can also play pool and try go-karting. The food was perfect, the first we had a grill at our table but I think you need to make a reservation for that, the second I had scrapers with peanut sauce, the peanut sauce wasn't but overall it was delicious. If you want to have a and eat food, I highly recommend this place. It's a really well arranged space; there's karting, bowling, pool, bar etc. But when we came for our ride, we had to a) wait for 30 min, all dressed, for our for god knows what reason (we came like it said in the mail) b) when our started, my bolid's tank wasn't even filled so I've lost at least 2-3 minutes because they had to replace it, which is really not fair c) my 10 year old sister was put into a child bolid (later explained it was because she has to be 16 to a regular one), but 2 groups before us and some that were on the same as us were literally kids her age and they all got a normal one. Karten was een minderleuke ervaring maar dat kwam vooral omdat we met een stel idioten op de baan zaten die nergens rekening mee hielden. Het leek meer op botsauto's dan op karten. Aanvulling op eerder geplaatste review, na een gesprek met het een medewerker van Silverstone heb ik het aantal sterren naar beneden bij gesteld. Mijn dochter is na twee rondjes gestopt omdat ze na een aanrijding geblesseerd was. Maar geld teruggeven zit er in. Wel kon ze een tegoed bon krijgen om nog een keer te rijden. Nooit meer bij Silverstone. Pretty cheap for 10 minutes of ( around 10 euros). They have bowling , laser tag, pool and also a bar. place to go for your birthday. The was very fun and you receive your group results post race. Sports are played on TVs and there is a bar for fresh drinks. Kids friendly too. place to visit, theres an option there for all ages. The prices are affordable and they can build you a package so you get the most of your money. The go was a laugh and it got quite competitive. Went in the laser arena and its the largest in europe, got lost in there a few times. Even if you're not a fan of laser games, its worth going in to experience the size and effects. Went for and dinner, the was overcrowded, the karts had wildly different power and beak abilities and we were asked to leave after ordering tap water to our other drinks and food. Onveilige ervaring, slechte afhandeling Ik ben samen met mijn vader gaan karten bij Silverstone als verjaardagscadeau hem. Helaas was het grotendeels een teleurstellende en pijnlijke ervaring. Tijdens de eerste heat werden we ingedeeld met een groep van ongeveer tien mannen die opzettelijk met volle snelheid tegen anderen aan reden en zich totaal aan de veiligheidsregels hielden. Al na twee rondes ben ik gestopt omdat het simpelweg te gevaarlijk werd. Mijn been kwam hard tegen de stuurkolom aan, en ik heb sindsdien pijn in mijn rug en nek. Mijn telefoon is zelfs uit een gesloten zak gevlogen door een van de klappen. Ook mijn vader werd meerdere keren hard geraakt en kon alleen nog proberen botsingen te ontwijken. Ik heb dit tijdens de heat aangegeven bij een medewerker, maar er werd niets mee gedaan. Silverstone gaf achteraf aan dat deze roekeloze rijders van de baan konden worden gehaald "uit veiligheidsoverwegingen het personeel". Dat vind ik een zorgwekkend standpunt: als er geen handhaving mogelijk is, wat is dan het nut van regels en een instructievideo vooraf? Ik had ons beiden twee heats gekocht. De tweede hebben we uiteindelijk wel kunnen rijden, maar alleen omdat we met z’n tweeën de baan op mochten. Dan voelt het uiteraard wel veilig. Maar onder normale omstandigheden, met een groep van 10 tot 15 mensen, zou die veiligheid er ook moeten zijn — en dat was het hier absoluut niet. Na afloop kregen we geen geld terug de onafgemaakte heat, maar alleen een cadeaubon aangeboden. Aangezien ik me op deze baan veilig voel, heb ik daar niets aan. Kortom: een onveilige ervaring, gebrek aan toezicht en een teleurstellende afhandeling. Ik zou Silverstone aanraden aan mensen die verantwoord willen karten. Not a place for karting, the layout is difficult for beginners which causes them to break in unnecessary places, so if you're an intermediate+ racer, either avoid this place or book it completely with friends. The karts don't seem to be equally maintained either, my first kart was extremely stiff and the steering wheel was super heavy, while my second kart was much smoother.
