As an American in the south of France in the summer, I was craving an iced cofffee and La grange delivered! They had plenty of outdoor seating. It was a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. They also have a store selling home goods inside. Had I had any additional space in my luggage I probably would have bought something. The barista was so kind and put us out of our misery by switching to English when hearing our horribly broken French. Drove past this place and thought: "This must surely have some Australian DNA?". And indeed it does! Excellent coffee, delicious pastries - and all sorts of other goodies inside. Magnifique! The second cup of the day should be savoured and if you are in Lorgues, a lively market town situated in the Var, Côte d'Azur, then look no further than La Grange. Owned by a Hamish, an afforable Australian and his charming French wife, La Grange not only offers a good range of and other cold drinks such as the popular Gimber but also a selection of scrumptious sweet treats such as Carrot Cake and Tarte au Citron. If you fancy a light lunch you can't beat the Tarte au Tomate or the Tortilla del Patatas. Food offerings change daily as everything is freshly made. La Grange also sells an eclectic range of products for the store cupboard including rosé from a local vineyard, local confiture and of course freshly roasted and sold in bean or ground format. Products for the home include beautiful cushions, lampshades and a selection of cups (of course!) and other small crockery items. One of the best coffees we have had in France! Excellent. Thank you. Had the most delicious pokey bowl from @La Mezcla and the best iced I’ve ever had in France for lunch after the market on Tuesday!
