The deco is country without rubbing it like being in a farm yard without stepping in. Fire plus is to die for, space is intimate wood and structure with its own story to tell. If you are out for a proper meal something continental and the taste of France, head to this tiny corner of the dutchland. Great foods, great experience on my birthday. Highly recommend to taste wines in the pairing menu with foods. I got a very interesting white wine. Top, top experience, with delightful staff, a beautiful venue (in the middle of nowhere), a varied and continuously surprise-inducing sequence of dishes. Wine pairings are original and thoughtful, enhancing the journey even further. They also enhance the already-significant impact on one's wallet that the evening will have, but such real-world distractions will have been left outside the door, won't they?! I should add that as long as you tell them in advance of your dining preferences, they work around them with respect and even creativity. They can't do vegan meals though, which is reasonable.
