We came here for food after a trip to Dudmaston Estate. It was late(2.30pm) so it was quiet. We were relieved they were still serving food! Pleasant atmosphere and food. We had two beautifully cooked meals that had such generous portions that we couldn't finish them. They catered for my GF requirements. The were extremely polite and helpful. Will definitely eat there again. I grew up in alveley and moved out when I was adult age and thus used to be one of our locals. Had a cracking Sunday lunch today, it's been done out beautifully and the food was amazing. Excellent value for money and had to have a doggie bag!! I don't get much time off work but on this rare day I did and glad me and the wife decided to come out for the buffet breakfast. Food was reasonably priced. Atmosphere and were nice, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast items are tasty and of very quality. I had a large meaty breakfast. The sausages, bacon and black pudding was on point 💪🏽 Will visit again with the family. Food fresh and good, far more than we could eat, but take away containers provided. Nothing was too much trouble for the with great hospitality. Quiet, which is a shame because The Royal Oak has a lot of potential. Give it a whirl, it's value n food. Lovely and service was good. We were told when we got there, that there was a wait for food but no longer than I would expect for fresh cooked food. Allowed to sit in the bar area with dog and it was as comfortable as the rest of the pub. My husband and I stopped for a bite and a drink and decided to stay for lunch. Delicious tuna dish, with well presented and fresh vegetables as well as the ham and chips, which was also excellent. Highly recommend 👌 Not normally one to write a review but feel this is needed to spread the word…just had our first meal at The Royal Oak Bar & Grill since it has recently been taken over. Such a relaxed environment with the tastiest food and wonderful staff. I had the tandoori chicken & halloumi sizzler and WOW. Generous portions with so much flavour. We will definitely be back and if you haven’t yet, you need to go and try. You wont be disappointed. 👏🏼 🥩 🥂 🔥 Stopped here whilst driving through back to Stoke. Absolutely amazing food! And the were amazing too. I would definitely come back and recommend this place. My self and my adult children had a great time today. We loved how many deals there were. In entering the pub a lovely lady greeted us .I have to say the food was absolutely lovely. I had a roast and I ate every last bit. I can't fault the roast dinner in anyway My children had fish n chips and they loved their meal. I tried the chips they were lovely fluffy home made . The service was fast and the truly lovely and funny too. I love my roasts and I give it a 10 out of 10 for taste and guess what mash potatoes lovers. There mash is creamy.. delicious! And the roasts and Yorkshire puddings were were crunchy and fluffy. The price came to 50 pounds for three people. Three dinners. Deserts and whine. I loved it. One happy customer who will definitely go again with her family. Well done to the staff!! It's been a while since we've visited the Royal Oak, and I have to say we were blown away. James, Rachel, and the team have done wonders. The bar area and were welcoming and served a great range of draught beer and cider. We were shown to our table in the beautiful bright restaurant and shown the specials. Our waiter was friendly and very accommodating. Now to the food! Holy cheese balls!! Every meal was served beautifully and had the taste buds bouncing from the visual and smell alone. All five of us ordered something different, and we all thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. We will be back! Cannot recommend enough 5⭐️ Early dinner with 2 young kids. Excellent service and food. Restaurant set in a very comfortable atmosphere. We instantly felt at ease. Great quality beers, I had the HPA. The owner, James, was warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend as a place for a drink or meal. We will definitely return👍 We had are old school reunion here in October, there is only 7 of us interested enough to see old faces theses days. Anyway I must say we picked the right venue. It was a pleasure to be there, the food was first rate, the atmosphere and service was amazing and for all that I would have expected a much larger bill.
