Its the best food we have had in a long time, for dining out, all them meals where outstanding!! Its a shame they don't do a meat share as well as a fish, not all people like fish, staff where very polite and we will be back, well done 👍 Nice welcoming pub atmosphere, staff friendly and attentive. A great place to go, had to book because it's a very popular place. Great atmosphere, facilities and wheelchair friendly. The staff are most attentive, a little delay on food to table but this was because of amount of diners. Well worth the wait, food excellent, I had the Welsh Lamb rump, my fellow diners had Fish and Chips and Mixed grill. No complaints at all. Unfortunatly photos do not do food justice. Had looked this place up as we wanted somewhere that served food all day. Reviews looked good, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 4pm, it was mid week so it was relatively quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. Make sure you go hungry as the portions are massive. We have big appetites so were fine. Food was delicious and the service throughout was excellent. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended to friends. The good thing about the menu is with the pub classics you can choose a smaller or larger plate which is really good if your not too hungry. I went for a special disk and it was one of the nicest things I've had from a pub. It was a little busy but your far enough away from the next table so you don't feel like your on top of people. Service was lovely just right for a pub. We stopped by this lovely family-run pub on our way to the Pumpkin Patch, and it turned out to be a wonderful find. Even though the place was quite busy and we didn’t have a booking, the owner kindly arranged a table for the two of us, our child, and the pram, making sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—truly a family-oriented pub. A friendly lady, who seemed to be part of the family, served our food and made us feel right at home with her cheerful conversation and sense of humor. We had driven all the way from Birmingham, and pubs like this are hard to come by in our area. The food was absolutely delicious; my lamb shank was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and my husband really enjoyed his lamb dish as well. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality food and service. We’ll definitely be coming back, especially during the festive season. Highly recommended!
