From the first contact to enquire, to the last glass of and a wonder around the vineyards. Everything was perfect, not ruined by coach loads of tourists. This was personable on a level that you truly understood their passion for their and the lands. We wanted to try some around Mount Etna and chose Tenuta Papale because of their story and amazing reviews and they deserve every bit of their 5 stars. We did the Sicilian Experience, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed three delicious (a Chardonnay, Rosé, and Red), along with their olive oil, bread, breadsticks, cheeses, meats, and other local treats everything was fresh and so flavorful. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they even let us try a small taste of their favorite red, which was outstanding. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Giuseppe—an incredibly down-to-earth and gracious host. The atmosphere at Tenuta Papale is cozy and inviting, with views of the picturesque vineyards. We enjoyed a delightful and olive oil tasting, thoughtfully paired with a variety of delicious foods. From artisanal cheeses, breads, and cured meats like prosciutto, to the classic Caprese and flavorful sandwiches made with focaccia, every bite complemented the wines. My personal favorite was the Etna Bianco. Our group of 22 people unanimously agreed that our visit to Tenuta Papale was one of the highlights of our Sicilian adventure. The combination of impeccable service, beautiful surroundings, and made it a truly memorable occasion. Whether you're a aficionado or simply seeking a unique cultural experience, I highly recommend Tenuta Papale Winery for its exceptional hospitality, food, and, of course, its wines. Visited from the states and this was by far the best winery I’ve had. Everyone was kind and explained each wine, nothing was rushed. We were able to enjoy and take our time here. The walk around the grounds was also informative and beautiful! If I could give this winery 6 stars I would!! We had just hiked Mt Etna and were looking for an authentic winery to try in the area. We saw some great reviews for Tenuta Papale and figured we’d give it a try. We were greeted by Giuseppe who welcomed us without a reservation and was very gracious. Taina who conducted our tour was PHENOMENAL and was so nice explaining everything in English to us. We learned so much!! From the Wine, to the Food to the tour of the vineyard it was truly a great on our last day in Sicily.
