I have been to restaurants and bars all over the world, and I have never been charged for music (unless it was a gig). Customers should be told at the point of booking or when before being seated. Overall we had a lovely evening but the veggie Mousakka needs some work and the music charges need to be clarified. We were two couples and a child, and we all enjoyed the food, the drinks and the perfect balance of calidez personal and efficiency. This we tried to share the experience with the mother in law more prone to noisy environments and crowded places, from which we use to run away, but we get it in our second visit here, despite the fact we were the only spanish table. In this occasion the starters and cocktails were really weak and overpriced for its quality, but not the mains, weren't cheap but very well done. Cheers! picture from 2021. We got accidentally to this place as we've been near the Mar Menor. We've been met by host lady who found a place for us, since we didn't have reservations. It was windy, but it gave deep impression of being near seaside. The food was very and good presented with well thought design. The best dish we liked was Duck Magret. It seems to me it was the most duck I've ever eaten. Special thanks to host lady. We ordered more than was enough to eat, but it worth it. We previously enjoyed Iberian pork and tuna tartare there. Highly recommended! The cocktail menu is also very extensive and these are expertly curated. A group of seven friends meeting up for the first in a while, we were seriously buzzed to be having dinner at El Secreto. We’d heard rumblings that it was molten hot. Celine and her team greeted us with big smiles and an artfully inconspicuous attention to detail. Choosing from the menu was a challenge; I wanted everything on there. My sea bass was perfectly cooked and the amuse-bouche, starters, side dishes and desserts were creatively presented and 10/10 delicious. Having devoured everything on our plates, we polished off the evening by cutting some seriously good shapes to the excellent live band. The food, service and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the in depth explanation of the provenance of each dish it really was a memorable dining experience from start to finish.
