There is small restaurant with toilets and small tower, so if you have good camera you can take beautiful photos of birds or mount Olympus. Είδαμε ροζ φλαμίνγκο, αναπνέαμε φρέσκο αέρα, καθόμασταν στα παγκάκια, παίζαμε στην παιδική χαρά. Υπάρχει ταβέρνα και όμορφη θέα. Και μόλις 10 χιλιόμετρα από την πόλη. Δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα τουριστικό μέρος για τους επισκέπτες της πόλης, αλλά οι ντόπιοι έρχονται συχνά εδώ για βόλτα. Αν είστε τουρίστας, επισκεφθείτε τη λίμνη Κερκίνη. Nice red coverage on the walking road makes the colours of the water and surrounding even more beautiful and colourful. Το μονοπάτι που κόβει κάθετα την λιμνοθάλασσα είναι ίσως και το μοναδικό σημείο που αξίζει από το σύνολο του σημείου. Στα αρνητικά, δεν ξέρω αν επηρεάζει η εποχή που πήγα, υπήρχε ξηρασία στις περιοχές πέριξ του μονοπατιού με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχει πουλιά και να έχει έντονη δυσοσμία. Από την μεριά της ανοικτής θάλασσας τα πράγματα δεν είναι καλύτερα αφού τα νερά είναι πάρα πολύ βρώμικα με εμφανή αντικείμενα να επιπλέουν, φουσκάλες και καφέ κηλίδες, που εντείνουν την δυσοσμία ακόμη περισσότερο… ίσως κανείς μπορεί να απολαύσει συμπληρωματικά τις θεές προς την πόλη από την Δυτική της πλευρά όπου κατά την διάρκεια του ηλιοβασιλέματος μπορεί να τραβήξει ικανοποιητικές φωτογραφίες. We saw (+100) as well as many other marsh species. The place is in no way organized or structured as a natural park. But, it has many wild birds and you can spend a few relaxing hours birdwatching. The access road is decent. We went in May. Very bad smell, unpaved road, poor view and no or other bird specieces except of one white stork and a lot of seagulls. Waste of time for tourists. Mit dem Bus kommt man gut bis ins Dorf und kann von dort aus einen schönen Spaziergang machen und verschiedene Vögel beobachten. Es liegt jedoch viel Müll herum und wenn man eine längere Wanderung machen will, sollte man sich auf Trampelpfade und kaputte Brücken einstellen, die nicht passiert werden können. Ansonsten toller Ausblick auf die Landschaft, aber unbedingt genug Wasser mitnehmen, da es keinen Schatten gibt.
