It tells you that this is a place of love and balance. The is cosy and the name of this pub is unique; “Kurts mor” means “The Mother of Kurt” where “Kurt” is a Danish name It is cheap and the service is extremely quick Good value drinks and friendly bar staff. Good with music and singing. Hyggelig Old school danish pub - very mixed crowd. Great low pricing, less than great decor. Som altid god stemning Iconic old place with some local drunks. Just possible to pay cash or with a Danish card that is not a credit card. Everything a bit weird and crazy here - even with smoking allowed inside. Be aware you might get drunk on a budget and smell like an ashtray afterwards. We love it! 10/5 stars Kurts mor is the archetypal old school danish bar that has to be experienced once before leaving Aarhus if you live or have lived in this city. Very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. Only warning is that it’s a smoking allowed inside bar. Lovely atmosphere, great service, cheap drinks.
